We believe in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

• Genesis 1 “In the beginning God…”

• Matthew 3:16-17 “As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, this is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

• Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you…”

We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures are the Divine Word of God, given for us to believe and live for God.

• 2 Timothy 3:15-17 “and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

We believe that man is born in sin, that on our own no one is good enough, and as such we are in need of a Savior to pay the penalty for our sin.

• Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”

• Romans 5:12 “just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.”

• Romans 6:23 “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”

We believe that everyone has the opportunity to choose to believe in Jesus, and that those who do not believe have no hope in this life or eternity.

• John 3:16 “For God loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that

whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

• Acts 4:12 “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”

• Romans 3:22 “This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.”

We believe that Jesus’ death and resurrection on the cross is for everyone, and that whoever believes in Him receives His Spirit, forgiveness and life direction.

• 1 Cor. 15:20 “Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.” • 1 Peter 1:3 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”

• 1 John 2:2 “He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.”

We believe that we are to follow Jesus’ example through the deep work of His Spirit so that we can be Holy like He is!

• 2 Cor. 5:17 “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.”

• 1 Thess. 5:23-24 “May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.”

We believe that God is coming back, that those who believe in Him will live forever with Him. • Matt. 24:42,44 “Keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come…So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

• John 14:2-3 “In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
